European Union (EU) rejections on Indian seafood exports have gone down consistently in last five years. India: February exports jump 17.5%, imports up 21.8%
India’s exports grew at its fastest pace in multiple years by 17.5% in February while imports were up 21.8%, government data showed on Wednesday. Rubber Board expects the natural rubber (NR) exports from India to touch 5000 tones this fiscal with international prices ruling over the domestic prices. Owing to unattractive relative prices, India’s exports have been negligible since 2013-14. In 2015-16, the total NR exports from the country were 865 tones. This fiscal, from April to October, the exports were 650 tones. However, shipments started gaining momentum from the second half of November with the spurt in international prices.
